The Flor de las Antillas San Andrés Robusto brings the line’s blend under a dark Mexican San Andrés oscuro wrapper, a limited release that extends the family of the line that earned Cigar Aficionado’s 2012 Cigar of the Year. Earth, dark chocolate and a bold, lingering pepper lead the way, with cedar and cream threading through the smoke and a fuller, heavier finish than the original sun-grown blend. Soft box-pressed and sold in boxes of 20, it is a more intense take on My Father’s medium-to-full signature.
