Davidoff’s first Dominican puro draws on six distinct terroirs, Yamasa, Martin Garcia, Villa Gonzalez, Mao, Piloto and Navarrete, with tobaccos aged a combined 32 years. The tapered perfecto format creates a progression that starts with focused wrapper flavor at the foot and deepens as the cigar widens, moving from cream and light cedar into soft spice and earth. Dark chocolate, roasted nuts and dried fruit develop with growing richness toward the finish, rewarding a slow, attentive smoke in a box of 12.
